- This is a free service – we operate it as a benefit to the legal profession and for no financial gain. Please do not call us or email us at any point. This service is suitable for solicitors, legal executives, paralegals, trainee solicitors and licensed conveyancers as these are the types of fee earner we tend to recruit for our clients, whether in house or private practice. We don’t tend to assist barristers as we are not usually involved in barrister recruitment.
- Your CV will be posted in a blog entry on our website, together with our comments. We will remove your surname and also your contact details. If you do not consent to this please do not send us your CV. We will give you an honest assessment of your CV. If your CV is abysmal we will tell you. We will not be polite. Note point 1 above.
- Our response will be based on our 3-10 second review of your CV, which is how long you have with most recruiters before we decide whether to read the rest or press delete. We will also provide in depth advice if we think it will benefit our general website readers.
- We will not try and sell you anything.
- If you do not like your work being criticised please do not send us your CV.
- If you have written your CV using AI and have not checked/amended it afterwards, we will delete it. Pure AI CVs are blindingly obvious to anyone and we lose the will to live after reading a couple of sentences.
Posting on the web time can be up to 28 days, but sometimes a bit longer. We will email you when your CV and our comments go live. If we do not email you please assume your CV has not been selected for review.
