How do our Legal Job pages work?

Ten-Percent Legal Recruitment operate an online legal job vacancy database. Every week we post all our new permanent roles and longer term temporary assignments onto the database. Each vacancy has a unique reference number (usually starting with VAC and then a five digit number), together with a location, job title, brief description of the legal job and details of how to apply.

We also post daily onto our website and vacancies can also be seen appearing in our Twitter feed or website updates – both available on our home page down the right hand side.

You will note that we often have quite brief vacancies on the site – this is because some of our clients like to keep job descriptions and selection criteria to a bare minimum when advertising roles.

For example it is common knowledge that there is a large shortfall of wills & probate solicitors and legal executives across England and Wales at the moment. As a result you will often see vacancies for wills and probate posts left as vague as possible in the hope of not missing any potential applicants.

Also, when a vacancy indicates a particular level of experience, it is usually the case that this is because the salary being offered is going to reflect that level of PQE (post-qualified experience) and anyone at any level of experience is welcome to apply with this in mind.

We are always happy for candidates simply to register with us. Any new vacancies are automatically emailed out to candidates on our database as well as posted on the website. Most of our successful placements come from pre-existing candidates, some of whom stay with us throughout their careers.

Registered candidates also get regular Legal Recruitment news updates from us including legal job market reports, salary reviews and locum hourly rates. These are usually sent out monthly.

To register as a candidate please click “Post a CV” on the left hand side of the page.
