PDF Lite is the Open Source version of the Adobe Acrobat software. It offers free pdf conversion, pdf viewing and tends not to have the same problems that Adobe Acrobat has. For example PDF Lite does not spend its time attempting to upload toolbars to your web browser, reset your home page and download continuous updates to your PC!
