This is the best content mangement system available on the internet. WordPress can be altered and bent into so many different styles, sizes, blogs, corporate websites, individual websites, video sites, shops, forums etc.. it is unbelievable. Recommended for solicitors firms as it can make your site look that much more user friendly and you can easily create additional content.
Completely free of charge if you download from www.wordpress.org. If you use a good web hosting company you can use a programme called Softaculous to install the software, as WordPress does require a little bit of tweaking when uploading. Don’t forget to download Filezilla as well (www.filezilla-project.org).
The amount of plugins you can get for WordPress makes it use endless. We run WordPress on the Ten-Percent.co.uk site, as well as Interim Lawyers. It takes some getting used to and the programming at times can be a bit of a headache, but there is a lot of support out there for it. Most plugins are free, so for example we use a Table Plugin, but the security software required to keep your website safe is paid for.
For our themes we use Theme Junkie – highly recommended – chap called Radek owns and operates it. If you have a problem he usually responds within an hour and the themes work very well indeed.
